The primary goal of the ÖGSV is to devise a uniform, high-quality standard for the entire sterile supply in hospitals and industry. Objectives to implement this goals are:
Initiate, develop and support expert meetings, seminars and conferences as well as research projects.
Providing continued education courses to make the professionals and supervisors capable of preparing instruments and devices at the proper quality, reducing costs and avoiding errors in sterile supply departments.
Reports on ÖGSV events as well as general news on the association are published in the ÖGSV members journal
Sterifix, which appears 3-4 times a year. In addition, members of the ÖGSV get the journal
Zentralsterilisation/Central Service for free.
